Saw this over the week-end and thought I'd post about it to share the love. This movie is so original, funny, cute and incredibly smart.

Found the trailer on YouTube and there's a wealth of other clips there if you'd like to get a taste.

And for more goodness don't miss that classic movie with Anne Heche. Hot stuff. The title escapes me and the movie itself is terrible but hopefully someone has uploaded the important bits to YouTube. Note to self: check on this.

Amazing hotness. Not quite sure why it took Wil so long to admit to being her bitch.

And I'm in love with the director, Alice Wu, she's a goddess. Check out the DVD special features and you'll know what I mean.

In addition to the considerable eye candy factor, I loved that the movie gives us a fascinating and hilarious look into the chinese community. It totally blew every stereotype away.

I haven't been this entertained and charmed by a movie in quite a while. The love story is sweet and totally adorable and the mother daughter relationship is wonderful.

I saw the movie last week. It was pretty fun and entertaining. The story is just incredible with great simple plots... it was written for the characters... everything was based on interactions... The only thing is that I wish for more development between Vivian and Wil. It went kind of fast without real dialogue between them to show the growing relationship. I want to see them talking about their issues and their love. Their interaction was lacking compared to Wil and her mom. But overall, it was fun and worth seeing.
